ASSISTIVE HEARING

The ability to hear is often taken for granted until it becomes compromised, causing frustration by not being able to utilise one of our most basic functions as people. Damaged hearing can not only be distressing for an individual as their ability to communicate is hindered but they can also feel isolated in a meeting environment. Thankfully with today's technology this doesn't need to be the case.

In the UK, it is also a legal requirement for a business or any other organisation to provide Hearing Loop/Assistive Hearing for their users - under the 2010 Equality Act.

We specialise in both Induction Loop and Infrared (IR) Hearing systems and test every installation to adhere to the latest version of BS EN 60118-4 (Magnetic field strength in audio-frequency induction loops for hearing aid purposes).

Interphase specialise in designing and installing assistive/induction loop systems for the following applications:

  • Office and Meeting Rooms

  • Boardrooms

  • Schools, colleges and Universities
